From this vision comes Rivière, Valentina Callegher’s new collection,
which reimagines one of the great classics of contemporary jewellery.
The inspiration takes shape through a distinctive new graphic signature, a precious rhythm created by the alternation of brilliant-cut diamonds and “needle-cut” diamonds an unusual shape that is more difficult to source than the traditional baguette cut. The choice of the “needle” cut represents one of the collection’s most exclusive features. Its exceptionally slender proportions give each jewel a sophisticated brilliance, combined with both aesthetic and structural lightness.
The Rivière collection unfolds as a complete high jewellery wardrobe, featuring half-eternity rings, trilogy and eternity rings, vertical pendants in different lengths, “smile” pendants that can also be worn as chokers, earrings and tennis bracelets, all available in white, yellow and rose gold.
Completing the collection, an important saddle ring further expands its design research. Drawing on Rivière’s distinctive materials, rhythm and cuts, it extends the collection’s language across a broad surface, where the motif is recomposed into a free-flowing and enveloping design. Linear repetition gives way to a more organic construction, moving beyond the traditional interpretation of the classic tennis jewel and bringing the collection’s aesthetic code towards a broader and more contemporary expression.
